For the last 30 years of my career, I focused on helping women look and feel beautiful. Now?  I'm redefining the script to help women from the inside out.

I began in the corporate world for a short time and quickly chose the path of entrepreneurship when I entered the beauty industry over 30 years ago. I built a very successful salon, spa and bridal business that I owned and ran with all the passion and creativity I could squeeze out in the day to day of becoming a mother, a business and above all continuing to grow myself.

Over the years I have experienced all the good things and all the challenging things life can bring. I had a short scare with cancer at the age of 33, years of marriage counseling that ended my 18 year marriage at age 43, a thriving and expanding business with new challenges and a new marriage and navigating a blended family. I thought I had it all going on and “under control” since I managed my emotions, my children’s transitions and teenage years, plus feeling so much gratitude for my health, my support system and my work which I loved.

I have always been a lifelong learner and an advocate for therapy, coaching and digging deep to find the causes for the things that derail us humans. I have been blessed with role models who created opportunities out of challenges and adversity and I gratefully inherited that gene. I am a lover of discovery and new perspectives to bring more peace and joy into my life and work. I believe that vulnerability and courage are our friends albeit  uncomfortable and scary. I am a fan of doing it afraid rather than not doing it and if we can see the vision on the other side of fear, we can truly accomplish anything.

MY STory

You're not alone.

After years of mentoring and coaching many employees, (and unofficially countless clients as hairstylists are known to do) I began my official coaching training in early 2017. Later in that year, my second marriage sadly led to an end rather abruptly. Who was I now? I was in disbelief, emotional trauma, layers of self judgement and fear.

As my salon was a well-oiled machine,I had an awakening of moving into my new chapter. I was inspired by the work I had witnessed in others and in all my learning through my experiences. I realized that the professional flame in my heart had evolved into watching and guiding others to hone and create their own profitable businesses that could support them and their families. I also had the experience of my own failures and where I would have done things differently with both my relationships and in business. I truly wanted to help others ease their own paths from suffering to success both in life and at work.

My coaching journey

let's work together

We may always be faced with challenges, crossroads and unmet expectations but we have choices in how we want to show up.

I am committed to always be a learner and creator of inner peace, a positive mindset and grounded solutions to live life with true joy and success in whatever ways I and others deem fulfilling.

with a desire to serve others in helping them take care of themselves and their goals in life.

The most COMMON QUESTIONS I get asked is “HOW DID you become a COACH? And WHAT made you want to be a COACH?

I see myself now as the summation of my life experiences and the lessons I have learned along the way. I have had many struggles that I have come through stronger, wiser and have made even more mistakes that have shaped me.

I have been taught that you teach from your healing and not your pain yet the pains inspired made me want to help others move through their struggles with support and guidance, ergo, my subsequent chapters.

To give you some perspective on the experiences I have survived in my adult years:(CAUTION)

  • Personal Bankruptcy in our later 20’s
  •  A miscarriage in my second trimester of pregnancy
  •  Melanoma 2 at the age of 33
  •  Building a double faceted business with no road map or guidance
  •  10 years of marriage counseling which sadly ended in divorce from an 18 year marriage
  •  Blending a family into a second marriage to be told 9+ years later that it was at its’ end. (Cue the trauma, depression and self judgement)
  •  Retiring my 33 year career in an industry I loved for another vocation I feel connected deeply to.
  •  Coming to terms with all the choices I made that led me to where and who I am.

Throughout all my own transitions, I have learned how to navigate a mindset that is destined to not only survive but thrive. I feel privileged to help others learn, grow, release their struggles and find the strength and will to live their best lives.

Therapy and coaching are both forms of professional support aimed at helping individuals improve their lives and achieve personal goals. However, they have distinct differences in terms of their goals, methods, and the populations they serve. Coaching is typically future-oriented and focuses on helping individuals set and achieve specific personal or professional goals. It often assumes that the client is mentally stable and seeks to enhance performance, skills, or personal development. Therapy on the other hand  primarily focuses on addressing and treating mental health issues, emotional challenges, and psychological disorders. Therapy also tends to focus on past traumas and experiences rather than future goals.

coaching is different from therapy

so, how is coaching different?
